At a school in North Queensland, a project was underway to engage students in an outdoor gazebo space. With a focus on both theory and practical building, the handful of students got together and designed/built a great outdoor venue to grow a garden, bake woodfire pizzas and generally hang out during lunchtimes and after school. With their new skillsets, students are using these building techniques in their future roles and also running sustainability workshops and conferences.
